Morning Walk

This painting is for the CALYPSO MOON ARTIST MOVEMENT Blog challenge, Title for this month is The Secret Garden, since I don't have an enclosed sanctuary I painted the challenge from my daily walk, up Mt. David. It is the view from the top, painted in oil on a 16 by 20 canvas.

Sailing Vessel, Sea Cloud in the harbour of Las Palmas in the Canary Islands

I painted this oil painting for "The Virtual Paintout" put on by Bill Guffey, he features monthly challenges from locations around the globe, this month he chose the Canary Islands, in the Atlantic Ocean. We use Google street view to find a subject.

This was also a photo from this weeks Wetcanvas challenge, it is painted in oil on a 8 by 16 masonite panel I had around, I went a little over my 2 hour limit.

I did this little 8 by 10 painting in oil, for the Wetcanvas challenge, it took about 1 1/2 hours, there is a 2 hour time limit, to finish the challenge.
