I painted from a photo I took on our trip to China,
on the cruise down the Yangtze river we stopped at a temple and some of our fellow passengers made their offerings, with letters and red candles.

Wet Canvas Challenge Monet's Waterlilies pond

This weeks challenge was to paint Monet waterlilies pond in Giverny, in the style of Vincent van Gogh might have painted it.
I did my painting in 2 hours ( one of the requirement at Wetcanvas.com) in oil on an 8 by 10 canvas board, I included the photo from Scattycat, you might visit her blog, http://gardenartjournal.blogspot.com/
