On the way home, saw this scene in contra light, just had to paint it.

Plain Air excursion to Rujada

Spend the afternoon at Rujada Park, about a 40 minute Drive from home, a wonderful location and the temperature was about 70F in the shade, subject was great but again could not find the right colors and values, but I won't give up.

Mt. Pisgah tree shadows

I am always having trouble seeing and painting the values and colors of shadows.
