Value does all the work, then color gets the credit
Beautifully done, Horst! I'm trying to figure out what each type of apple is as I can see they are all different varieties.
ReplyDeletebeautiful painting Horst, lovely colors and great reflection.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely painting, Horst! I love the unusual take on the composition; nice colour choices too. The reflection of the fruit is especially inspired.
ReplyDeleteYou do have a knack for still life. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteNice Horst! It looks like I could reach in and pick one of those apples...especially like the one on the left!
ReplyDeleteI'd tell you another great painting, but don't want you to get all puffed up. ;)
ReplyDeleteI love your work.
ReplyDeleteEspecially the reflection of apples. Many Masters.
