This weekend, my friend Kelly and I went to Dorena Lake to do some Plain Air painting.
Had some problems with the trees on the first painting, but all in all it was a lot of fun, even with the interruption of passerby, handing out compliments.
Value does all the work, then color gets the credit
Horst, I love the trees and see no problems. The first painting reminds of someplace I've been many years ago. Not sure where, but it instantly struck a memory chord. The second is just lovely too with its line of small boats.
