This weeks Challenge for the DPW website, since I don't have a favorite cup, I painted my wife's Coffee Cup, bought in Seattle at the Art Museum in 2008, during the "Inspiring Impressionism" show. Painted in oil on a small 8 by 10 panel.
Value does all the work, then color gets the credit
Very nice Horst, it feels like I could reach out and pick it up!
ReplyDeleteWell done, Horst! Is that a Cassatt on the cup?
ReplyDeleteWow! I'm impressed.! Beautifully painted.
ReplyDeleteYou are right Autumnleaves this painting on the cup is from Mary Cassatt (1844-1926) named Family. Thanks for visiting to all of you.
