May 2010 Challenge Study, ADNW
The "A Day Not Wasted" Website provided some reference material, a beautiful still life, which I painted in oil on a 9 by 12 canvas-panel, I think the reflection in the copper pitcher was the challenge which I enjoyed.
Born in Salzburg, Austria, retired as bakery owner, took up painting as a hobby, love to paint almost every day, my new addiction is plein air painting.

This is a great looking answer to the challenge, Horst! Those reflections came out fine.
ReplyDeleteHorst, nice yellowish atmosphere. I would have given a little more lemon yellow to the lemon. But that is personnal... ;)
ReplyDeleteNice crop and good reflections on the pitcher!
Nicely done basket.
ReplyDeleteAh! The pink tones in the copper are so appropriate and beautiful.
