Cascade Waterfall

Just realized the deadline for the Eugene Mayors Art show is here, so in a 2 day span I crammed in this oil painting, 18 by 24. I'll give it a shot, out of the usual 500 entries the jury selects 50 paintings. And guess what, I was able to get in.

Locomotive, ADNW Challenge

Tango

This little painting (6 by6) was painted for the DPW Challenge, The Color of Music was the theme.
I love tango music, I met my wife of 44 years on the dance floor in San Francisco, and we still try to cut the rug at least once a week.

Plain Air at Bakers Bay

This weekend, my friend Kelly and I went to Dorena Lake to do some Plain Air painting.
Had some problems with the trees on the first painting, but all in all it was a lot of fun, even with the interruption of passerby, handing out compliments.
