This is my painting for the monthly The Virtual Paintout Challenge, painted in oil on a 11 by 14 canvas panel. My wife and I visited Rio about 10 Years ago in February during the Carnival, and we walked along the beach, drinking Coconut juice, which we bought from on of those stands, it sure brought back some memories, thanks Bill for putting on this challenge.
Really love this Horst, the yellow umbrellas really caught my eye, and the shadow pattern is great.
