Walk in the Park, Central Park


Here is my submission for the " A Day Not Wasted Blog" put on by Lee Brown. Last time I took a trip to NYC, and after visiting the Metropolitan, my wife and I visited Central Park and walked under the same viaducts and admired the Art Nouveau streetlamps, Lee's photo reference brought back memories. This oil painting is on a 16 by 20 canvas.

    I always enjoy your work Horst. This is really lovely - love how you cropped in closer. And I'm glad you left the cab in, I think it really adds interest to the image.
